My name is Michael Presley Bobbitt. I am a playwright, novelist, and Clambassador. I operate this vacation rental for old and new friends visiting my favorite place on Earth. Each booking comes with a free copy of one of my novels "Godspeed, Cedar Key" or "Forever, Cedar Key" for reading on your stay. If you enjoy the book, I would be happy to sign your complimentary copy while you're on the island.
Ceday Key is a special place. Please feel free reach out while you are here if there is anything I can do to help you enjoy your stay. I would be happy to share the incredible history of the island with you or suggest fun things to do and see while you are on the island. I'm so glad you're here!
Welcome to Cedar Key!

Most of our quaint little town is situated on Way Key, but the real magic is in the pristine barrier islands that populate the Wacasassa Bay. A short kayak to Atsena Otie to visit the ruins of the original town and the old cemetary is a great afternoon trip. A guided boat tour from Island Tours or Tidewater Tours is a great way to learn the history of the islands. Catch the best sunset in Florida along G Street. Denny Voyles Guide Service will take you on a fun fishing trip to chase redfish, trout, mackeral, snook, and sharks. The Cedar Key Historical Museum is the best $3 you can spend.
